About me
I am a qualified child, young, person and adult counsellor and Psychotherapist.
I truly believe that every person's life is a special journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you as we discover meaningful ways to grow together. We’ll take things at a speed that feels just right for you, ensuring you always feel comfortable and fully supported every step of the way. Whether you're looking for short-term help or something more long-term, I’m here to assist you.
I have a real passion for working through attachment styles and generational trauma. By opening up about these experiences, we can tap into your inner strength and break free from any patterns that might be holding you back. I’m dedicated to supporting adults, children, and young people alike.
Before starting my private practice, I was lucky enough to provide counselling in secondary schools, where I conducted both individual and group sessions. During that time, we tackled a wide range of important issues, including self-harm, feelings of hopelessness, suicidal thoughts, LGBTQ+ concerns, grief, anger, body image issues, anxiety, and school avoidance.
You can expect a personalised approach that’s all about what you need. I aim to weave in solution-focused therapy and creative methods whenever they can add value to our work together.
I’m genuinely committed to helping you boost your confidence and self-esteem, recognising that it’s completely normal to feel a bit isolated or undervalued at times. Together, we’ll delve into these emotions, with the intention of empowering you to express yourself and live a fulfilling life while embracing your unique identity and finding your place in this world. If you’re curious about therapy and want to know how a safe and confidential space could support your journey, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to hear from you!
